Setup Dialup Internet & Email in Windows 98/ME/2000

• Click on Start ->Settings ->Control Panel
• Double click Internet Options.

• Click on the Connections tab.
• Click on the Setup button and the Internet Connection Wizard will start.

• Select I want to set up my connection manually...
• Click Next.

• Make sure I connect through a phone line and modem is selected.
• Click Next.

• Phone Number: Enter the local dial-up phone number for where you live. For southeast Florida our numbers are:

  	Dade	305-356-2920
  	Broward	954-343-6920
  	Boca Raton	561-953-6920
  	Homestead	786-217-1042
  	West Palm	561-909-2920

• Make sure to include the area code (but not a "1') for full 10-digit dialing, even though it's a local, toll free call!  In Windows, this is usally easiest to do by putting the full 10-digit phone # in the phone number field and leaving the area code blank.
• Click Next.

• Username: Type in your Nationwide username. Make sure all characters are in lower case and there are no spaces.
• Password: Type in the password you chose when you signed up. Again, all lower case and no spaces.
• Click Next.

• Connection Name: You can leave the connection name as it is or change it to Nationwide. This is just a title so you can name it anything you like.
• Click Next.

Set up Your Internet Mail Account

• If creating email account in Outlook Express select "Yes" and continue with setup instructions for Outlook Express. Click here for instuctions
  
• If creating email account in different email program select "No" when asked "Do you want to set up an internet mail account now". Click Next and the click Finish from the next window and continue with setup instructions for the appropriate email program.
  
• If only creating a dialup connection account select "No" when asked "Do you want to set up an internet mail account now". Click Next and the click Finish from the next window.
